Richard Muszynski founded Ricard Chocolat in 1999 to create only the finest product for his customers, handcrafted exactly to suit each customer's needs down to the smallest detail. Each chocolate is made using a single bean cocoa from Madagascar. All bon bons and truffles are enrobed in a 72% coverture. All seasonal produce and dairy are hand selected fresh from the neighboring Green Market in New York's Union Square Park. Our unique handcrafted silkscreening process allows us to put any image, from your company's logo to your own personal design or even a photograph on an edible piece of chocolate. Custom ordering is always available and given our number one priority, custom tailoring your order exactly as you want it for any special occasion, wedding or business need. Learning a love of the culinary arts from his mother at the age of 5, Richard Muszynski has worked in some of the finest food establishments in New York City. Orginally after apprenticing in many a handful of notable restaurants in San Francisco, Richard went on to earned his masters degree from NYC's New York City's prestigious French Culinary Institute, which Richard still returns to on special occasions to present chocolate demonstrations to this day. As a private chef for several of New York's more most prominent families, Richard Muszynski has traveled the globe, becoming a connoisseur of the ingredients found in many international locales.
With an emphasis on the customer's needs and as well as maintaining the highest quality in their product served, Ricard Chocolat has won numerous awards and features including being named The Best Artisinal Choclatier in America in 2003 by the Travel Channel and receiving a five star rating from the Food Network who placed Ricard Chocolat as one of the Top 5 chocolate companies worldwide. The Ritz Carlton, the Four Seasons, Marriott, Versace, Cantor Fitzgerald, Christies, Rivington Hotel, Blakely Hotel, and many others are all counted amongst the regular Ricard Chocolat clientele.
